The Lawton Alternative School PTA was formed in 1995.

 

Today, we are still growing and evolving.  Our members include teachers, administration, support staff, and of course parents, guardians, and family from the Lawton Community.

 

Our meetings are held once a month on the last Tuesday of every month at 6pm in the iSpark studio on the 3rd floor at Lawton School (Check calendar to verify).  Dinner and childcare will be provided at each meeting.  The meetings are open for anyone to attend, however, you must be a member in order to vote on items.

The funds we raise through our PTA go straight back into our school.  Whether it is spent on new or current programs, classroom items, field trips, graduations, greening, instruments, or many other things, this money enriches the school experience for each student at Lawton.

 

We are always looking for more volunteers to help with our fundraisers, family and community nights, and for all of our other day to day procedures.  If you would like to be a part of a great PTA team, we would love to have you! There is always something you can do to help, just ask and we can find the right thing for you!

 

If you are interested in joining the PTA, please fill out a form here or it can also be found on our PTA Bulletin Board near the office.  The yearly membership fee is $10 and can be paid online through Paypal on our Donate Page (please make a note that it is for membership), or it can be made at any meeting or dropped off in the office at Lawton.
